Today’s prayer
Supreme Source of Life, I am grateful that life changes, seasons turn, people meet, and unexpected openings sometimes appear. I do not claim that every event is a sign or that every closed door hides a reward. I ask instead for attentiveness and good judgment.
Let me notice the needs around me and the ways my work might answer them. Guide me toward relationships built on mutual respect. When an opportunity aligns with my responsibilities and values, help me respond with preparation.
When it does not, give me peace to decline without resentment. May I contribute more than I consume, collaborate more than I compete in fear, and remain adaptable when a plan must change. Let the flow of my life be shaped by integrity and meaningful effort. So may it be.
The opening and closing are suggestions. Use your own words for the sacred, or none at all.
A two-minute pause
Sit comfortably and let your eyes rest on one ordinary thing near you. Breathe slowly and notice it as if for the first time. When your attention wanders, return to it without judgment.
There is no timer. Close the guide whenever you are ready.
If you like, add quiet background sound with Ambient sound at the top of the prayer.
