Today’s prayer
Supreme Source of Life, in a world of movement and uncertainty, I seek an inner place of stillness. I do not ask for a life without difficulty, for such a life may not exist. I ask for a centered spirit capable of meeting change with dignity.
When the future feels loud, help me return to this breath and this moment. Give me the strength to do what is mine to do and the humility to release what I cannot command. Keep my thoughts from turning every risk into disaster and every delay into defeat.
May peace shape the tone of my voice, the pace of my decisions, and the care I show others. Let calmness be a practice I return to, not a perfection I demand of myself. So may it be.

A two-minute pause
Let your breathing settle into its own rhythm. Count ten slow breaths, or simply rest in silence. If thoughts arrive, let them pass like clouds and return to the quiet.
